mesha.club was a bookkeeping and accounting software built for USA-based small businesses, accountants, and finance teams.
When I started working on it, the problem was not "low traffic."
It was worse.
Google was barely indexing the site.
Pages were live, but search engines were not picking them up properly. Search Console refreshes, small edits, and surface-level fixes were not solving it. The old case study clearly showed the main problem: a new domain, technical gaps, and content that Google was not indexing well enough to produce search visibility.
So before thinking about scale, I had to fix the base.
No indexing means no rankings. No rankings means no traffic. No traffic means no leads.
- mesha.club went from zero serious organic visibility to 17K+ monthly organic traffic.
- 4,000+ monthly visits achieved in the first 3 months.
- 17,000+ monthly visits achieved within 7 months.
- Organic keywords grew from 6,099 to 13,255.
- Search Console impressions crossed 376K with 4.02K clicks.
- 20–30/month B2B organic leads generated, 100/month qualified demo or signup actions.
- $100K SEO-influenced pipeline.
The starting point
mesha.club was in a hard category.
Accounting software and bookkeeping keywords are not easy. The SERPs are filled with SaaS brands, finance blogs, comparison sites, and high-authority domains.
But the site had one clear opening.
Most small business owners do not search like finance experts. They search for simple answers. They search for bookkeeping help, tax questions, payroll basics, accounting software comparisons, and ways to manage business finances without overcomplicating things.
That became the strategy.
Fix the technical block first. Then build content around the real questions small business owners were already asking.
What I did
First, I audited the indexing setup.
I checked the sitemap, robots.txt, noindex issues, crawl paths, Search Console coverage, internal links, duplicate pages, and thin content.
The first job was to make sure Google could crawl, index, and understand the site.
I fixed technical issues blocking discovery, submitted the right pages through Search Console, improved internal linking, and cleaned up weak pages that were not helping the domain.
Once the indexing issue started clearing, I moved into growth mode.
Every content piece had to earn traffic from a real search query and push the right visitor closer to the product.
The growth
The first target was simple: get mesha.club to 4,000 monthly organic visits within 3 months.
That target was hit.
The site crossed 4,000+ monthly visits, and third-party traffic data showed 4,723 organic monthly traffic with 6,099 organic keywords.
Then I moved to the second target: scale the site to 17,000 monthly organic visits within 7 months.
That target was hit too.
Search Console also showed strong movement during the growth phase, with impressions crossing 356K+, then 376K+, and clicks rising as Google started trusting and ranking more pages.
The numbers
Here is what the SEO system produced:
The important part is not just that traffic grew. It is that the traffic came from small business owners actively searching for bookkeeping help, accounting software, and finance operations — people with a real problem mesha.club could solve.
Why this worked
This worked because I did not try to scale a broken site.
A lot of SEO campaigns fail because people start publishing content before fixing the crawl and indexing issues. That would have been a waste here.
For mesha.club, the first win was technical. The second win was intent.
Once Google could properly index the site, I focused on content that matched how small business owners search. Simple problems. Clear answers. Product-relevant topics. Strong internal links. Better page structure.
Before
Pages Google ignored. Indexing issues blocking discovery. No search visibility despite having content live on the site.
After
Technical blocks cleared. Intent-led content system. 17K+ monthly traffic from small business owners searching for accounting help.
That gave mesha.club a way to compete without needing to beat massive finance brands on day one.
The real story
mesha.club did not go from 0 to 17K+ monthly traffic because of one trick.
It happened because I fixed the base first, then built the content system on top of it.
From pages Google ignored to 17K+ monthly organic traffic.
From indexing issues to 13K+ organic keywords.
From search invisibility to a working organic acquisition channel.
That is what made this case study worth talking about.
