iScalePro is a talent assessment software built for HR teams, recruiters, and hiring managers who want a better way to screen candidates using skill assessments, custom tests, and data-backed hiring insights.
When I started working on iScalePro, SEO was technically happening. But it was not really moving the business.
They had an SEO specialist. They had a backlink sheet. They had activity. What they did not have was a strategy.
The focus was mostly on building links and tracking them in a Google Sheet. There was no clear content system, no intent mapping, no serious topical plan, and no strong connection between SEO work and lead generation.
So I changed the game. I moved SEO away from "build links and wait" to a proper growth channel.
- iScalePro moved from scattered backlink activity to an intent-led B2B SaaS SEO system.
- Monthly organic visits crossed 20K+ after 1.5+ years of compounding work.
- The program produced 34+ B2B organic leads and 150+ demo or sales-qualified enquiries.
- SEO influenced INR 10 Lakhs in revenue by targeting HR teams and recruiters closer to buying.
- GSC proof includes 127K clicks and 4.53M impressions across the long-view growth window.
The starting point
iScalePro was in a competitive HR tech market. Big SaaS brands were already ranking. Recruitment platforms were ranking. Assessment tools with higher authority were ranking.
But there was still a clear opening. Most competitors were either chasing broad HR keywords or publishing generic hiring content that did not move buyers toward a product.
The old system treated SEO like a checklist. Build links. Track links. Wait. That was never going to be enough for a B2B hiring platform competing in a crowded category.
The opportunity
I saw the opportunity in long-tail and commercial search intent.
The goal was simple: get iScalePro in front of HR teams and recruiters when they were already searching for hiring software, assessment tools, skill tests, and better ways to evaluate candidates.
These were not vanity keywords. These were buyer-intent searches.
What I did
First, I audited the site and found the usual blockers: weak internal linking, slow pages, missing metadata, thin content, and poor topic coverage.
Then I rebuilt the SEO plan around search intent.
Bring HR teams into the funnel through hiring, assessment, and screening education.
Help buyers evaluate assessment platforms, test types, and hiring workflows.
Target recruiters already looking for assessment software, coding tests, and candidate screening tools.
Then I worked with the content team to publish consistently. The first cycle focused on 120 articles with a target of reaching 4,000 monthly organic visits. That target was beaten: iScalePro hit 7,000 monthly organic visits.
The second cycle expanded the system with 300+ total articles and a target of 10,000 monthly visits. That target was beaten too. iScalePro crossed 20,000+ monthly visitors with steady growth.
The numbers
Here is what the SEO system produced:
The important part is not just that traffic grew. It is that the traffic came from people with a hiring problem: recruiters, HR teams, hiring managers, and companies looking for better ways to screen candidates.
Why this worked
This worked because I stopped treating SEO like a checklist.
Backlinks alone were not going to fix the growth problem. iScalePro needed search coverage across the full buying path.
A recruiter searching "what is a talent assessment" is early. A hiring manager searching "best talent assessment software" is much closer to a buying decision. A company searching "pre-employment testing software for developers" is even closer.
Each of those searches needed a different page. So I built the content system around how buyers actually search before booking a demo or speaking to sales.
Before
Backlink sheets, disconnected content, weak internal links, and activity that was hard to connect to lead generation.
After
Intent-led pages, stronger product positioning, clear content buckets, and search coverage across the full buyer journey.
That meant fewer random blogs. More intent-led pages. Stronger internal links. Clearer product positioning. Content that did not just attract HR traffic, but pulled in people with a real hiring problem.
The real story
iScalePro did not need more SEO activity. It needed SEO that could bring buyers.
I took it from scattered link building and disconnected content to a system that crossed 20K+ monthly organic visits and created a steady stream of qualified search traffic.
For a B2B hiring platform, that is the difference between "doing SEO" and making SEO work as a serious acquisition channel.
